Kenneth Dreyer

Entrepreneur, Business Architect and Marketing Strategist.

I am a Norwegian-born Entrepreneur and Business Strategist.

With a background from venture capital and consulting, I founded my first real business when building a marketing agency who specialized in retail and e-commerce. With no money and no customers, we had to cause ripples in the industry using only our imagination. The result was the launch of an e-commerce conference where we showcased ourselves with much success. The event was a hit, clients were signed, and we could hire our first employee and pay everyone full salaries from day one.

In 2015, I co-founded We Are Brands, a retail management and venture company. Initially, this firm was aiming to operate location-independent, but in 2018 the decision was made to set up an HQ in Melbourne, Australia. Today, We Are Brands have expanded to the USA, Singapore and the Philippines, and is active in many more markets.

In 2020, I was a part of launching Oslo’s new premium coworking space, Factory Tøyen: a private workspace for Creatives and Originals. For me, this was more than just another business. After years with varied success of balancing work and personal life, this project is on a mission to understand and improve work-life harmony. This project is in partnership with Amalie Dreyer (the founder), who is also my spouse. 

Along the journey, I have worked with several of the largest retail brands in Norway, a range of start-ups and designed marketing strategies for many brands. Two of my e-commerce stores landed in the top 1% tiers at Shopify, and my first paid project was building a digital strategy and website for my hometown at the age of 13.

As a part of my role, I spend my time researching various subjects in pursuit of understanding the anatomy of a high achiever. More on this will be published later.

Personal Life 

I enjoy spending time with my partner, Amalie Dreyer and my son, William. Due to the nature of work, a typical year involves a lot of traveling and visits to various destinations around the world. Culinary experiences are a favored pastime.
