A few people have been mailing me asking how I make my money online. Well, I’m going to run a little quick test project on this blog and show step for step how I do it.

First of all, you need to find yourself a keyword niche that is’nt overcrowded yet. I’ve chosen “Ipod Touch Tricks“. I just bought a new domain today, So I’m starting pretty fresh myself. If I’m going to do this, Im doing it hardcore style and starting from pretty much scratch. I bought the domain from Godaddy and it costs less than $10. You can afford that, right?

The setup of the blog took me about 30 minutes. I used a dreamhost account and used their neat little “One-Click-Installs” feature to install it. Piece of cake. Then I headed over to Wordpress.net and found myself a new theme. I spent another 30 minutes setting up stuff like feedburner, analytics, permalinks, categories etc.

Keep in mind that since I’m starting fresh with a new domain, the won’ be much traffic the first couple of week. Consider this a little 2-3 months project.

How much will I make from the IIT Project?
No idea. But hopefully at least $50 a day if I manage to rank myself to the top for the keyword “Ipod Touch Tricks“.

And by the way, just to demonstrate how easy making money on the internet really can be - I don’t have an ipod touch, I don’t even own a single thing from Apple. I’m actually going to use the money from this project to buy myself an Ipod Touch. How long do you think it will take me?

In the next post, that will hopefully come tomorrow, I will talk about basic linkbuilding to get the blog indexed.
